My newborn photography style is all about capturing the beauty of natural moments. I focus on genuine expressions and candid interactions. I do not do heavily posed positions, I feel babies are at their best just being their adorable selves. The soft, natural colours enhance the innocence and charm of, creating timeless images that families will cherish forever. You will have full access to all newborn clothes, blankets and my beautiful maternity dresses also work perfectly for newborn shoots.
The first few weeks as a new parent are a whirlwind of emotions and experiences. From the joy of holding your baby for the first time to the challenges of sleepless nights! Being a mum of 3 myself I appreciate what it is like for parents but also for siblings, some take to their new role as big brother or sister quickly but others take longer or they can be camera shy or unsure around strangers, these are all things I understand and take in to account to ensure everyone is relaxed and happy. My role is to provide a calm enjoyable experience for parents, siblings and of course baby, and to capture this incredible moment without you feeling stressed.
About the photo shoot.
The Studio
The photo shoot will take place in my purpose built studio at my home in Horsham. I allow up to 3 hours for the shoot but if I can get your photos done in 2 hours then great, I know how tiring those early weeks are! But I allow a lot more time so you never feel rushed, I fully appreciate babies have no routine at this stage, I allow plenty of time for feeding and changing, so baby is always content and happy and you can relax.
Are pets allowed?
As much as I love animals, I do not allow pets(including my own) into the studio to limit any issues with allergies.

The shoot
I will capture photos of you all together, both parents together and individually with baby, siblings and baby and then your baby just on his/her own and all the gorgeous detail shots. The photo shoot is not done in a strict format, particularly when siblings are involved. If you have any concerns or requests, we can discuss this prior to the shoot.
What to wear?
You will have full access to my client wardrobe with some beautiful dresses for mums which are very flattering and adorable soft knitted outfits for newborns. I suggest to keep clothing fairly neutral and soft, no loud colours, heavy patterns or logos as it can distract from the moment in the photo. I am happy to advise and discuss further prior to your shoot.
How and when to book.​
I request a deposit of £85 to secure your booking and cover the shoot, this is non refundable. Please book within plenty of time to avoid missing out as I only take on a handful of shoots a month so that I can really devote enough time for editing your beautiful photos. An ideal time to get in touch is when you are around 5-6 months pregnant, this will also allow time if you would like a maternity shoot. You can get in touch with me through my contact page, then I will make a note of your due date which will give me a rough window of when to expect your shoot. We can pencil in a date but babies love to surprise us by coming early or late, this is another reason why I do not take too many clients on so I have flexibility to account for this. The ideal time for newborn photos is between 7-12 days old, when baby is still really sleepy which makes it easier to create the curled newborn look. But equally I love older babies that have their eyes open more and their little personalities are starting to come through.
All shoots are done at 10am during the week as this allows me plenty of time before I have to pick up my own children. Saturdays are limited but I can be more flexible with timings.

Below are my standard packages, but there are many more options available from framing to gorgeous albums and even different printing papers like fine art prints. These options can be discussed following your shoot.
A non refundable deposit of £80 is paid at the time of booking, then once you have received your gallery you can choose one of the below packages. The package price does not include the deposit.
